Now, mind you, periods 3 & 4 were only 3.5 weeks long. In period 4, we had our written exam 10 days after starting the course. We also had to turn in 2 practical reports from working in MatLab and a final Planet Simulator Project (log and presentation). That's 3 computer programs, 2 programming languages, math, and chemistry within less than 4 weeks. I liked the course and think I learned a lot, but 4 weeks is just too short.
This grading period (period 5) is just my internship as long as I'm not insane and add anything...oh wait, I did. I'm also competing in the Water Innovation Challenge through the WML & Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg. I'm in the finals and do my last pitch on March 27, 2018. I have to take the day off the Internship to go do that 2.5 hrs away. It's been a struggle to get everything organized, prepared and created for that project as well. The cool thing is I've been able to work in the FabLab on campus and 3D & laser print part of my project. I'll be doing that again next Saturday to finish it up. I've got 4 more pieces to 3D print and maybe 1 to cut with the laser printer, but I'm not sure about that yet. I may end up using the 3D printer. I wonder if they have glue...
Period 5:
FSE Internship (7.5)
Water Innovation Challenge (length?)
I really just want normal, no extra-frills courses after this. My luck, I'll get the 2nd internship or the Water Challenge and have even more work. *headdesk* I have to redo the test for Statistics, but I'm going to wait until Feb 2019 and take in during re-exams then. I will be working on my thesis by then and should have more time to take the day off and come back up here then if I were to try and take it this summer. I just need to keep up with CrashCourse Statistics so I don't get behind.
